Meet Christina

Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 18 years of experience dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and compassion. My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection, understanding, and the creation of a safe space where people can truly be themselves.

As the owner of Cassidy Counseling, LLC, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients from adolescence through adulthood as they work through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, academic stress, life transitions, and a wide range of personal challenges. My goal is to help each person feel seen, heard, and supported while building the skills and insights necessary for meaningful, lasting change.

Over the years, my career has taken me through private practice, hospital behavioral health working on the inpatient eating disorder unit, college counseling, and community mental health roles working with co-occurring disorders. Each setting has shaped who I am as a clinician and deepened my understanding of the many ways people experience struggle, resilience, and growth.

For a decade, I also worked in college counseling centers, supporting students as they navigated the complex intersections of mental health, independence, identity, and academic pressure. I provided individual counseling, crisis support, outreach, and workshops designed to build resilience and emotional well-being.

In my private practice today, I draw on all of these experiences to provide therapy that is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I value open communication and believe in working with my clients rather than merely treating them. Together, we explore patterns, uncover strengths, and set goals that feel authentic and empowering.

My therapeutic approach blends evidence-based methods with a genuine, person-centered presence. Whether we are addressing long-standing emotional pain or more immediate stressors, I strive to bring empathy, curiosity, and steady support to every session.
